Attorney General’s Office Arrests Hinton Man in Distribution of Child Pornography

OKLAHOMA CITY – Agents with the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office, a member of the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, arrested a Hinton man on Friday on complaints of distribution of child pornography.

Kyle Dean Caldwell, 21, was arrested at his home in Hinton on two counts of distribution of child pornography, one count of aggravated possession of child pornography and a violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.

Caldwell was booked into the Caddo County Jail.

“Child pornography violates, exploits and endangers young victims,” Attorney General Scott Pruitt said. “This criminal activity will not be tolerated, and the AG’s Office will continue assisting agents and local law enforcement to help safeguard Oklahoma families.”

The Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force includes more than 60 partner agencies, including the OSBI, the Attorney General’s Office and the Guthrie Police Department. The Caddo County Sheriff’s Office assisted in Caldwell’s arrest.

Members of the ICAC task force are specially trained to investigate the exploitation of children through the use of technology.
