OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter will collaborate with the Oklahoma Press Association to host open records and open meetings seminars in six locations across the state beginning next Thursday, Sept. 28.
The seminars are free, open to the public and require no pre-registration.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter is urging Oklahomans to use extreme caution when purchasing a used vehicle that may have been damaged by Hurricanes Harvey or Irma.
OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter today signed a letter, along with a coalition of 34 attorneys general, to Equifax citing several concerns and listing recommendations to better assist consumers.
In the letter, attorneys general asked Equifax to address the concerns promptly to ensure victims of the breach are treated fairly and Equifax isn’t using the incident as an opportunity to profit off victims.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter today has issued a consumer alert after last week’s Equifax breach that affected 143 million individuals nationwide.
Equifax, one of the nation’s largest credit reporting agencies, announced it had experienced a cybersecurity incident on Sept. 7. The breach occurred between May and July, allowing personal information, including names, Social Security numbers, birth dates and addresses, to be exposed to hackers.

Attorney General Hunter said the work of charitable organizations is key to the recovery process after a disaster. However, some see it as an opportunity to run scam operations asking for money the victims never see.
LAWTON – Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter announced his office has filed five felony counts on Randy Wolfe, of Lawton, after an undercover investigation.
Wolfe, 49, has been charged with one count of aggravated possession of child pornography, two counts of distribution of child pornography, one count of child sexual abuse and one count of violating the computer crimes act.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter is reminding Oklahomans the Emergency Price Stabilization Act is in effect for all 77 counties after the disaster emergency declaration announced yesterday.
The price gouging statute prohibits an increase of more than 10 percent for the price of goods and services after a declared emergency. Additionally, the act allows the attorney general to pursue charges against individuals or businesses that engage in price gouging.
