Drummond had requested legislative leaders to craft the bill, which now makes its way to the governor’s desk.

“The audit findings released today show troubling and all too familiar patterns of mismanagement, costing taxpayers millions as a result. Today’s report confirms my previous order of an investigative audit of OMES, which is sorely needed and long overdue.

OKLAHOMA C ITY (April 22, 2024) – Attorney General Drummond is urging the United States Supreme Court to consider a case that could dramatically limit the immunity that shields Big Tech companies from civil lawsuits.
The case, styled as Doe v Snap, involves a young man seeking to hold Snapchat accountable for its role in his being a victim of sexual abuse. The social media platform has so far been able to use Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act to shield itself from any accountability.
