Attorney General Mike Hunter today released the following statement on the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decision regarding public nudity.

The ruling from the court addressed a Fort Collins, Colo. city ordinance that prohibited women from going topless in public, after two women sued the city in 2016, arguing that the rule violated their equal protection rights.

The 10th Circuit has jurisdiction over federal cases from Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Kansas and Oklahoma.

TULSA – Attorney General Hunter today announced his office has charged two individuals with first degree murder for their role in the brutal 1983 murder of Anthony Baltes.

The formal charges in the nearly four decades old case come a day after the state multicounty grand jury indicted Erlene Lee, 58, who currently lives in Texas, and Willie Moore, 61, who currently lives in Wyoming.

Johnson & Johnson held liable for harm caused to Oklahomans, fueling opioid epidemic

NORMAN, OKLA. – Attorney General Mike Hunter today commended Cleveland County District Judge Thad Balkman for ruling in the state’s favor and ordering Johnson & Johnson and its subsidiaries to pay $572 million to abate the ongoing opioid epidemic in Oklahoma.

The judge’s ruling is the first of its kind in the country to find an opioid manufacturer liable for the harm caused from the opioid crisis in the United States.
